Minuit et Demi will leave you with a lingering feeling of mystery as the tobacco and bourbon base envelops your senses from start to finish.
Creating a perfume has always been a dream of mine. Since I started my fragrance journey online, I’ve had the opportunity to discover many scents from all over the world – along the way, I was able to distinguish what the perfect fragrance would smell like to me.
It is an honour to present to you Minuit et Demi, my ideal version of a gourmand scent – sweet, warm, addictive and sexy.

CITRUSES WITHIN BURNING WOODS
It is at first a flash of Lemon, insanely vibrant and bright, striking like lightning in the middle of the night. Fluttering notes of Lime, lively and shrill, soon come forth, welded into the metallic zing of Mandarin, its leathery zest and bittersweetness.
Shackled in a cage of dark woods, the Citrus fight with a newfound strength, their light shining brighter as delicate notes of Elemi and a heavenly touch of Hojari Frankincense burst open.
Even as the smoke rises and crashes in waves of burnt Cade, spicy Guaiacwood and incandescent Vetiver, the Citrus bouquet carries its brilliance proud, undefeated, and undimmed.

The moon plays a leading role in conducting the rhythm of life in the Middle East, her ethereal appearance hailing the beginning and end of all festivity. Yet in Arabic, invoking the moon is also an allusion to romance — ‘my moon’; an adoringly grandiose term for one’s beloved that speaks of beauty and eternal devotion.

Rich, natural cedarwood – hand-harvested and extracted using hydroelectric power – enlivened by a fresh breeze of Bergamot. The raw seduction of musk and equitably-sourced Haitian vetiver patchworked against illusory beauty: an overdose of synthetic rose, a varnish accord.

Boundless is a burst of joy, a fleeting euphoria, translating the vertical tension that empowers those who want to enclose in their hands the immensity of the world. This ardent and vivacious energy echoes that of sunlight bouncing off the dewy leaves of the jungle, flickering in rays through a flower-studded canopy and grazing rainbow-barked trees before vanishing amongst gnarled and misty-kissed boughs.

A fruity splash of fresh nectarine flows like the soft undercurrent of a clear stream to the fountain of youth from which the flower drinks.

The perfume Flower of Immortality is part of the KILIAN Fresh Citrus family. A lot of attention is taken in each bottle of KILIAN refillable perfume, to make them real precious objects. The perfume bottles of the fresh citrus family are adorned with a distinctive Klein blue lacquer and their bottle has been meticulously engraved on each side, with the representation of the Achilles shield. Like Kilian Hennessy says : “In perfumery, it is as much about seduction as it is about protection.” A silvery metal plate on which the name of the perfume is engraved by hand adds an extra touch of sophistication.

Inspiration: A secret love affair begins innocently enough with jammy rose essence and juicy plum accord in Liaisons dangereuses, typical me.
Fragrance story: The connection intensifies as blackcurrant buds absolute mark love’s stain, its deep purple undercurrents tangling with hedonistic ambrette seed essence, cultivated in the heat of equatorial terrain, mirroring heated nights of passion. Vanilla absolute and moss keep the scent suspended just above the natural world, keeping the secret safe a little while longer.

Olfactive Family: Narcotics – From rose to tuberose, from orange blossom to gardenia… Kilian flowers are composed like a narcotic dependence.
