Carnal Blends, intoxicating essences
Can perfume increase our power of attraction? For a long time, we have only been able to trust in our intuition to confirm this. Science did not recognise that scents have the capacity to trigger the production of sex hormones. Then a team of researchers from Bochum University in Germany proved that some odorous molecules can activate regions of the brain connected to libido. This singular link between scents, pleasure and sexuality is at the core of the Carnal Blends collection. Working the ingredient to express its full potential and meeting the challenge of composing two different eaux de parfum with the same notes: juniper berries, nutmeg, coriander, musks, ambery woods and vanilla. The Gentle Fluidity duo was born of the perfumer’s imagination to offer two distinct olfactory silhouettes, for her or for him.
In Gentle fluidity (silver), nutmeg and ambery woods are dominant and release a vibrant, comfortable trail. As for juniper berry essence, it leads to an ascending, ultra-fresh, aromatic note, similar to a “gin frappé” effect, balanced by the dry, slightly balmy, spicy notes of nutmeg. The base notes reveal ambery wood facets ranging from sweet and enveloping to powerful and dry.

It is a star, ALDEBARAN, one of the brightest in the sky; the second star of the floral constellation imagined by the designer Marc-Antoine Barrois and his accomplice, the perfumer Quentin Bisch.

ALDEBARAN takes its name from the brightest star discovered and observed by an 18th-century Arab astronomer. Its name, from the Arabic Al-Debaran, evokes the outstretched hand of one who helps and shows the way. This olfactory experience is a quest for optimism, like a journey through the looking glass, from darkness to light.
Fascinating and full of contrasts like a piece of colorful wild silk, the OUD silk mood eau de parfum unfolds in an airy and sensual fashion. Fragrance story: Rolling in Love is a musc de peau, capturing the sensation of feeling so high on love that it seems to almost “get under the skin.” Working with perfumer Pascal Gaurin, Kilian Hennessy took an entirely new direction. Rolling in Love is more direct and less faceted than his previous fragrances—almost “monochromatic” in its focused representation of a single emotion. Rolling in Love is a “white” scent, layering different textures along the scent’s trail with notes of ambrette seeds, almond milk, iris, and musk.

Inspiration:A perfume as complex and dazzling as the woman who wears it.
Fragrance story: The notes conjure, in scent, the delicate gold leafing and play between light and shadow, for which the painting is celebrated. Perfumer Calice Becker was inspired by the fascinating contrast between the painting’s facets, which she describes as “texturized and brilliant, rich and voluptuous.Its zesty luminosity is the fragrant expression of this brightness. The petal-y rose heart depicts all of the facets of the rose. Finally, vanilla absolute’s unctuosity appears generously in the drydown, adorned by an exclusive patchouli molecule, the Akigalawood.

A gourmand, floral and fruity fragrance designed entirely as a variation on texture. A mille-feuille of flaky sweetness, softness, and sensuality. A sparkling and juicy opening of mandarin and Italian bergamot with a joyful orange blossom flower and blackcurrant heart leads to a flimsy delight of marshmallow and airy sweetness of Chantilly cream that are addictive.
