A generous fragrance built around woods, flowers and a sensual touch. So a luminous chypre structure came to mind. Musky notes were de rigueur here, and so was an elegant touch of rose and amber. But the initial seriousness of the accord disappeared when colorful but subtle fruit accents were added: they were here to stay.
So just like PASSION VICTIM reflects the heady languor of Paris in the 20s, this attractive composition evokes the speed and the sophistication of today’s New York. “I like observing flowers bloom, expand and exhale their last breaths. I can say that just like some people are bird watchers. I am a bloom watcher. My love for flowers is infinite, as I’m a botanist and I am Mexican (in my country, we love flowers way too much!) So for this symphonic floral perfume, I blissfully orchestrated my floral parts and pieces thinking of the natural life cycle of a flower: from the closed bud to its eclosion, its magnificent turgescence, its nocturnal exhalations, its languid fading away… and then the petals landing softly on the ground, exhausted but still redolent.
A very specific tuberose extract paired with a new quality of jasmine from Southern China provided the heart for this scent and the palpitations come from fine citrus essences and natural leafy accents. And just at the end, a hint of humanity appears, as an ambery, warm oriental accord works as a pedestal for this multifloral beauty.”

“There’s a well know Caribbean spice called pimento that has the endearing name of allspice in English. I have always found this name quite curious and for a good reason: when the spice was brought to England, everyone had trouble describing it as it had fragrances of clove, pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg wrapped all together in one!
As a perfumer, I am very fond of spices. They are full of nobility. No wonder why we are always looking for the spice of life!… So I wanted Wilgermain to have a very spicy fragrance in its repertoire. And here it is!
For this fragrance, I wanted to explore this allspice concept using a myriad of different spices that together would deliver a totally new, unknown spice aroma. A special quality of pepper from Nepal brought that extra punch that I was looking for.”
“As an inventor of fragrances, I feel very comfortable working with citrus notes, so, for this composition, I wanted to express my deep love for citrus through an extremely intricate top note that can be described as an anamorphosis of hesperidic notes: the spike of lemons, the elegance of bergamots, the sweetness of oranges, the floral notes of mandarins, the fruitiness of tangerines, all together working in unison.
Also, I always perceive a hint of iris notes (irones) in certain kinds of Mediterranean oranges and that thought took me to anchor this scent with the real deal: ultra pure iris absolute from Florence, bolstered with the best quality vetiver essence. This scent has become one I wear very frequently. I hope you become an addict as well!”
