Perseus is a luminous and refreshing creation, combined with a long-lasting sillage. The fragrance is characterized by a grapefruit citrus accord and a vetiver heart that come to life the moment they meet. The former immediately invigorates, its freshness electrifying the skin. At the same time the earthy facet of the vetiver is revealed, refined, comforting and sensual. Perseus’s trail is further enriched by ambergris and long-lasting dry woods.

Musk is notorious for having two faces: the pure and the wicked. Accentuating its binary character produces a perfume both innocent and irresistible, split between a clean cologne accord of lemon, bergamot and orange blossom, and a seductive white musk accord.
A show of innocence is not the perfume’s only source of trickery: its staggering concentration of musk overcomes the transient nature of an eau de cologne and renders the perfume indestructible.
L’Homme À la rose is Francis Kurkdjian’s free interpretation of a rose for men. In the first few seconds, very fresh, green and bursting notes paired with a grapefruit accord and essence of Damask rose from Bulgaria create a sensation of natural vitality. Then come the middle notes of a rosy, very woody accord, gradually enhanced by woody amber notes which infuse the sillage with sensuality. With this fresh and bright eau de parfum, Francis Kurkdjian gives men the power to wear a rose.

Bright and lush, mysterious and provocative, Synthetic Jungle is a stylized landscape in technicolor greens. An ode to cult perfumes of the 1970s, Synthetic Jungle offers a modern vision of nature reimagined.
Flipo retained the opulent basil of the original composition, along with a recomposed bouquet of hyacinth, lily of the valley, natural jasmine, and Ylang Ylang oil.
To modernize and sharpen, she then added synthetic black currant and styralyl acetate, effectively putting the bouquet through a glossy, sparkling filter.
Flipo simplified the Chypre and leather notes, resulting in a cleaner, more streamlined accord. Finally, she added patchouli.

The perfume’s aim is clear: to transform the famous Grasse rose, a symbol of voluptuousness and unqualified femininity, into an assertively virile fragrance that can be worn by anyone…
The result is a model of its kind: alternating femininity and masculinity of the Centifolia rose, quickly picked up by a chorus of warm, spicy, and woodsy notes such as cumin, olibanum, cedar, and a touch of amber… In the background, the declared sensuality of Gaïac wood and cistus highlighted by distinctly musky notes, give this perfume a disconcerting sense of mystery.

This one is dark. A good, addictive, warm dark, as if the humid summer underwoods, their seeds and resins, were sprinkled with layers of musks and sweetened with drops of vanilla. It evokes the smell of warm skin and resinous wood. The perfumer’s notes say orange flower absolute, the unique cedar atlas, styrax resins, absolute tonka, and musks… We say TONKA 25.
