The perfumes of Maison MARC-ANTOINE BARROIS are the result of the meeting of two young creators. One is a designer, the other is a perfumer and it was childhood memories that brought them together. Inspired by the citiy of Paris, KILIAN PARIS introduces its new addition to the Liquors olfactive family: L’Heure Verte, an olfactive soundtrack to nightlife’s liberation to come. L’Heure Verte is named after the traditional French equivalent of ‘Happy Hour’, that early evening window of time when absinthe was served upon sugar into a glass and swirled with a spoon in a slow-paced ritual. The liquid turns pastel green; this hue reappears in L’Heure Verte’s own perfume elixir, an entirely naturally derived color: tender like a Parisian haze, or a Van Gogh painting come to life.

The vision for a fragrance named after this great city was creating a fresh citrus a spicy top note using a mix of sicilian bergamot and orange adding saffron and thyme. Then comes the aromatic magic touch of the olibanum, jasmine and fruity notes to compose the character of the fragrance.
The long lasting base has woody notes, vanilla, musk and amber adding a generous amount of an exclusive leather accord.
The fragrance is a new distinct perfume created by Comme des Garcons and inspired by the original citrus scent Warhol used for the 1967 artwork.
The scandalous original fragrance from 1967 consisted of Coke bottles spray painted silver and filled with a citrus perfume promptly triggering a cease and desist letter from Coca-Cola resulting in the project being abandoned. Staying rather clear of Coke bottles, the reintroduction of Andy Warhol’s You’re In comes in six unique matte silver industrial bottles, each featuring a different whimsical quote by Andy Warhol.
