The very first creation in the “Les Eaux de l’âme” trilogy, Beauté du Diable by Liquides Imaginaires is a perfume that is both dark and sweet, its smoky and spicy, slightly retro notes accompany us day and night, creating a trail intriguing and seductive for all who cross our path.
A deep and smokey amber perfume with floral flourishes, inspired by this key design material of the era. A warm amber, spiced with aromatic and smokey blonde tobacco tells the story of Art Deco decadence. A riot of flourishing florals and dried fruits join the melee of fine ingredients, creating an indulgent blend.
A romantic and dynamic story of the Art Deco period is bought to life in pure perfume pleasure.
At Frapin, we work and live far from the major cities. Our personal and professional lives follow the circadian rhythm of days and nights, the changing of the seasons, the wind blowing in the trees.
This closeness to nature sustains us more than one might think. We model nature and are modelled by it, surrounded as we are by meadows, vines, rivers and woods.
This proximity is the hallmark of our style, our essence, our elegance. We admire wood, work it, drink it and smell it. This wood is our age-old wisdom. We listen to its lessons and secrets. Its verticality shows us the only way forward, that of ascending. It is at times hot, enveloping, aromatic or deep. It strongly underscores our style; that of Bois Blanc.

CITRUS
“Isle of Man” is a resolutely masculine fragrance, a celebration of the fearless and intrepid for those who laugh in the face of death-defying odds. It salutes free spirits and adrenaline addicts who know that truly living means pushing boundaries. You’re never more alive than when life is on the line.
Life should be anything but boring. David Frossard, himself a motorcycle aficionado and lover of extreme sports, entrusted this interpretation to perfumer Aliénor Massenet. Her creation boasts a genuine olfactory signature. The citrusy attack followed by salty floral accords conjures up the heady adrenaline rush of ripping down an ocean-beaten coastline.
Top notes: grapefruit, bitter orange, basil
Middle notes: accord of salt, freesia and violet
Bass notes: ironwood, Haitian vetiver, musk
The fragrance is a new distinct perfume created by Comme des Garcons and inspired by the original citrus scent Warhol used for the 1967 artwork.
The scandalous original fragrance from 1967 consisted of Coke bottles spray painted silver and filled with a citrus perfume promptly triggering a cease and desist letter from Coca-Cola resulting in the project being abandoned. Staying rather clear of Coke bottles, the reintroduction of Andy Warhol’s You’re In comes in six unique matte silver industrial bottles, each featuring a different whimsical quote by Andy Warhol.
TOM FORD, THIS SCENT PERFECTLY CAPTURES THE COOL BREEZES, SPARKLING CLEAR WATER AND LUSH FOLIAGE OF THE ITALIAN RIVERA. HIS REINVENTION OF A CLASSIC EAU DE COLOGNE FEATURES CRISP CITRUS OILS, SURPRISING FLORAL NOTES AND AMBER UNDERTONES TO LEAVE A SPLASHY YET SUBSTANTIVE IMPRESSION.
Top Notes: Bergamot, mandarin orange, lemon, lavender, myrtle, bitter orange, rosemary
Middle Notes: African orange flower, jasmine, neroli, pittosporum
Base Notes: Amber, ambrette, angelica
The essence of an extraordinarily charming man. One who is magnetic without even seeming to try: every gesture infused with a sense of humor and sophistication. Not a rugged, shouting masculinity, but an irresistible whisper.
A charismatic field of woods: an unprecedented dose of Haitian vetiver woven with sandalwood, cedar and cashmeran. Bound to the skin by oak moss and musk, and lifted by pink pepper, bergamot and bitter orange in a whiff of captivating freshness.
An overdose of refined essence of bitter orange (or “bigarade”, as they say in Provence), embellished with cardamom and pink pepper on a woody base of hay and cedar, heralds a new generation of “eaux”.
A simple formula for an air of clean sophistication.
Cologne Bigarade is also available in a more concentrated form as Bigarade Concentrée.
