This new perfume is a tribute to the seductive souls who each have their own rituals of preparation. The slow, measured method of dressing. And even if their gestures are different and their secrets proper, they all share a common ritual: their ‘final touch’ is the application of perfume.
Touche Finale is a reinterpretation of a perfume that has already left it’s mark in the history of the rebirth of Jovoy: 2006’s renowned Poudré.
After more than two years of work, the independent perfumer, Vanina Muracciole has managed to preserve the soul of the original Poudré, whilst exalting it, in this new, ultimate version.
The embodiment of the confidential nature of the Centifolia Rose (also known as the May or cabbage rose), ROSE MILLESIMÉE is an olfactory metaphor for a moment frozen in time, the reflection of a story, a region and a tradition of craftsmanship. In homage to the Centifolia Rose, this absolute hangs back yet asserts its exceptional character. In Vanina Muracciole’s interpretation of the Rose Centifolia, attention to detail meets a quest for the sublime.
“ For years now, I’ve wanted to reproduce the Centifolia rose without artifice, without a dominant synthetic environment that would make the note consensual. It was about conserving the flower’s natural properties and suggesting comfort.”
To the Grasse region’s native blossom, Vanina Muracciole has added a dash of spices, candied apples, essence of Bulgarian rose and white musc to create a “powerful and carnal soliflore.”
The fruit of nature’s whims and unrivaled, nuanced soil, it tinges each vintage with its signature and patina.

Sometimes too much isn't enough. In matters of sensuality, excess can never be exaggerated. In the great Oriental tradition, Jus Interdit plays the sorcerer and toys with the limits of decency, daring to defy propriety by invoking generous proportions of oud, patchouli, cedar and benzoin. A sumptuous mukhallat dedicated to 21st Century princes and princesses, overtly solar, immensely opulent, infinitely addictive.

These Sombres Dessins have replaced a ‘g’ with an ‘s’, abandoning Machiavellian and slightly worrying dark designs to instead give free reign to draw on the consummate art of conquest. It’s distinctive lines leave no doubt to the sharpened eye of an onlooker. “This one must be a privateer…” mumble the old people assembled in the port as they gaze across at the looming warship; “he must have made a mistake, docking here!” As the wind rises there can be no more ambiguity for a Jolly Roger slams into view and whistles a Memento Mori that reminds us that life is fragile, so we must live it well. But here the skull and crossbones are emblazoned on a red flag, meaning a short but good life is better!
Sucked in by the promises of the amber and vanilla aromas of rum and whiskey, a buccaneer rushes out onto the dock and blends into the crowd for a fleeting moment of tranquility during his overnight stopover. He knows that his proud ship will be gone before dawn. Disappeared completely, leaving only a trail of exotic spices and the precious woods of the treasures that fill his holds alongside the promise he made to an elegant woman to return one day “provided God gives her life”.
