Spice D’Arno is a rhythmical composition which moves like the flow of the river for which it is named. Opening with the invigorating tones of bergamot, lemon and pink pepper, Spice D’Arno evokes the lively energy of a new adventure about to begin. The scent gently meanders its way into a sophisticated heart bursting with thyme and cistus, softened with a comforting and soothing bran absolute. The cistus pays homage to the tenacity of the Roman adventurers, adding a floral, sweet and woody tone to the warmth of bran and the leathery savoury aspect of thyme.
In the base of Spice D’Arno a ribbon of sweetness comes in the form of excitingly resinous vanilla which is warm and embracing. This is strengthened and supported by a leathery feel. A discrete yet mighty oud facet completes the composition, lending power and weight to the fragrance and ensuring the lasting power to stay the course.
INSPIRATION
The Arno river was one of Italy’s most important waterways in Roman times. The flow of the river brought with it new ideas as well as trade, goods and movement of the population. In Spice D’Arno we celebrate the new horizons that the Romans pioneered and the trade routes they established which allowed them to move goods and ideas across the Empire. Some of the commodities the Romans transported included spices, leathers and woods, all of which can be found in this soothing composition which flows with the eternal energy of this mighty river.
Rosendo Mateu 1 reminiscent of spring, with a strong presence of Mediterranean freshness; the characteristic scent of the coast of Spain, Italy or Greece. The sum of citrus, jasmine, spicy green pepper, cardamom and tea flower, give the unisex fragrance a distinct fresh and strong presence on the skin that will surprise fans of subtle scents.
