Kilian Hennessy’s Inspiration:
Inspired by the citiy of New York, KILIAN PARIS introduces its new addition to the Liquors olfactive family: Apple Brandy on the Rocks, an olfactive soundtrack to nightlife’s liberation to come. Apple Brandy was first conceived with perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur for the opening of KILIAN PARIS’s New York flagship eight years ago. The fragrance returns, featuring the original apple brandy core but, this time, with an added uplift—KILIAN PARIS’s signature “on the rocks” accord blended into the opening for an ice-cold liquored delight expressing a uniquely KILIAN PARIS character. A blend of bergamot, apple brandy and cardamon, the accord cools down the original, adding excitement and modernity.
The Perfume:
This fresh opening of Apple Brandy on the Rocks unfolds into the perfume’s core personality: a distinctive apple brandy accord, in which a crisp fruity blend harmonizes with brandy—recreated using notes of rum for the liquor aspect, moss and vanilla. Upon a core structure of cedarwood and ambroxan, the scent carries sophistication into the night. It captures the constant reincarnation and incontestable elegance of the ‘Big Apple’—most especially that of its legendary nightlife.
Perfume notes: Bergamot, Apple Brandy and Cardamon
Bright and lush, mysterious and provocative, Synthetic Jungle is a stylized landscape in technicolor greens. An ode to cult perfumes of the 1970s, Synthetic Jungle offers a modern vision of nature reimagined.
Flipo retained the opulent basil of the original composition, along with a recomposed bouquet of hyacinth, lily of the valley, natural jasmine, and Ylang Ylang oil.
To modernize and sharpen, she then added synthetic black currant and styralyl acetate, effectively putting the bouquet through a glossy, sparkling filter.
Flipo simplified the Chypre and leather notes, resulting in a cleaner, more streamlined accord. Finally, she added patchouli.
With this reinterpretation, the two creators offer a dive into the most sensual character of B683, an immersion at the heart of this perfume and its signature: the warmth and the depth of a woody-leathery accord. Here, it gains another intensity to become an authentic “patchouli leather.” Around that, other notes of the composition sublimate the different facets of this matter with tactile sensuality. Pepper and cumin offer the vibration of their spicy accents, the oud wood enhances the density of then accord while the vanilla brightens it with a caressing roundness…

Main Notes
Bergamot, Ginger, Licorice, Vanilla, Cedar Wood, Indian Oud, All Naturals, Musk
A gourmand, floral and fruity fragrance designed entirely as a variation on texture. A mille-feuille of flaky sweetness, softness, and sensuality. A sparkling and juicy opening of mandarin and Italian bergamot with a joyful orange blossom flower and blackcurrant heart leads to a flimsy delight of marshmallow and airy sweetness of Chantilly cream that are addictive. The ambrette and musk base notes add a carnal touch to the composition. A glowing delight.
On the skin, the noblest ingredients in perfumery unite with groundbreaking molecules in the exaltation of a deep pink bouquet, like its bottle. Chantilly cream, a signature note, brings softness and gourmandise. They say that the famous ‘milk cream’ was whipped up by Procopio, the inventor of gelato, in honor of the prince and future king Louis XV at another grand French castle – Chantilly. True to its passion for the 18th century, Marly has reinvented this very cosmetic note. Oriana, the story of a heroine with character and a hypnotic sillage.
Overture Man is an instantly arresting woody scent inspired by man’s solitude in the world; dramatic, bold and confident. Created by renowned perfumer Karine Vinchon, Overture Man is an operatic portrayal of a gentleman’s mystique encapsulated in potent notes of Myrrh, Sandalwood and smoky Frankincense
The Fragrance opens to bold notes that are starkly contrasted by the citrusy, spicy and aromatic freshness of Grapefruit, Saffron, Cardamom, Cumin and Ginger. As it evolves, it reveals a softer heart of resinous floral notes crowned by Myrrh and Geranium, giving this creation a sophisticated edge, but as it matures, Overture Man unveils a truly timeless essence of smoky woodiness from Frankincense that engulfs its wearer in mystery.
GINGER FIG : Delicate notes of fig and ginger, without doubt the most subtle one.
f3 basic rules for burning ONNO candles:
1. Always burn the candle until the surface is fully liquid. The first time of burning this can take 3-4 hours. The next times it
will be faster.
if you don’t do this, you will form craters and the next time you light the candle, the wicks will drown and you won’t be
able to use the candle anymore.
2. Don’t let the candle burn longer than 6-7 hours to have optimal burning result.
If you let the candle burn for longer, the liquid wax will become too deep. The volume of liquid wax is larger than solid
wax end so level of the wax rises with the burning of the candl e. If the liquid wax comes too high, the wicks will drown.
Also the wicks will loose their stability if the liquid wax is too deep. Then they can fall on the glass and cause the candle
to break. It is therefore important to check the position of the wicks and correct them if necessary. Do this 15 minutes after the candle is extinguished, when the wax is half solid.
3. Always leave 1-2cm of wax in the candle. Don’t burn the candle until the bottom to avoid the risk of breaking the glass.
Other burning instructions can be found in the manual, included in each candle package sold.
– Always light all the wicks of the candle, otherwise you will cause uneven burning.
– Do not burn candles near a heat source. This can cause the glass to overheat.
– If a black soot appears on the wicks after burning, it should be cut off to prevent black smoke from forming during the next
use.
– Candles can be cleaned regularly with a slightly damp microfiber cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. In addition, also
clean the inside of the candle regularly if there are soot stains, to avoid black smoke
