Creating a perfume has always been a dream of mine. Since I started my fragrance journey online, I’ve had the opportunity to discover many scents from all over the world – along the way, I was able to distinguish what the perfect fragrance would smell like to me.
It is an honour to present to you Minuit et Demi, my ideal version of a gourmand scent – sweet, warm, addictive and sexy.

SHAMANIC AWAKENING
A brisk Bergamot washes over you like a draft of glacial air. You feel the cold grip of Pink Pepper, the slight tingle of Pimento Berry in your fingers and a Frankincense encapsulating your past and your future.
A deep breath fills your lungs with the fierce and smoky scent of Sand Vetiver and of an animalic Rose whose weathered tobacco accents tame the tension between an earthy Papyrus and a silken touch of Sandalwood.
Yet this is roads’ end, where the sun is always high, and rays of aldehydic Mystikal suddenly spear through Saffron and Suede, your leathery cloak of doubts, to kindle a mist of Akigalawood, shimmering like a swarm of fireflies.

Fruity Animalic Harmony
Fragrance story: Tart blood orange essence and rose-tinged lychee fruit is set ablaze with peppery pimento berries essence. Creamy sandalwood on the drydown gives a smoldering quality, for a playful twist on a scandalizing encounter.
Olfactive Family: Cellars – Woods in all their forms – from sandalwood to cedarwood, from patchouli to Vetyver – but always with a Kilian twist: rum, coffee, cacao, cognac, whisky, as a reminder of Kilian Hennessy’s heritage.

A lot of attention is taken in each bottle of KILIAN refillable perfume, to make them real precious objects. The perfume bottles of the narcotics family are adorned with a distinctive white lacquer and their bottle has been meticulously engraved on each side, with the representation of the Achilles shield. Like Kilian Hennessy says : « In perfumery, it is as much about seduction as it is about protection”. A gold metal plate on which the name of the perfume is engraved by hand adds an extra touch of sophistication. These details bring to the KILIAN creation a guarantee of luxury, that should not be ephemeral, but should last a lifetime. That’s why the bottle of this cellar perfume can be refilled indefinitely.

What makes INTERLUDE 53 MAN an “Exceptional Extrait”?
A fragrance is usually a mix of a concentrate (containing fragrant oils) and an alcoholic base. Some fragrances can also contain a bit of water and additives like liquid UV filters, stabilizers or colourants. Therefore, fragrances with a higher fragrance concentration contain more perfume oils and less alcohol, and vice-versa.
Usually, a higher perfume oil concentration means an increased performance of the fragrance (particularly longer lasting scent) – but the impact of oil concentration is much more complex and varies depending on each formula.

The notes of this eau de parfum are, at the top : saffron, black pepper, chili and nutmeg, at the heart : violet leaf, musk, cistus absolute, Moheli vanilla tincture and amber ; at the base sandalwood, patchouli, ambroxan and oakmoss.
The fragrances of the Maison MARC-ANTOINE BARROIS are the result of the meeting of two young designers. One is a couturier, the other a perfumer. Their childhood memories brought them together. The gently herbaceous notes of Thyme are toasted under soft, golden flames of Nutmeg, summoning the spirit of the East while alluding to the rustic idyll of bygone England.
